Mistakes happen when you live on the cutting edge of digital marketing.

Usually not huge mistakes. It’s usually one or two small ones. Any given campaign can have them. In the tunnel vision of planning, you leave out a secondary piece. For me, it’s usually retargeting.

A recent study I found in MarTechSsries showed 99 percent of digital agency leaders encounter mistakes. I don’t mean one mistake they regret from 2014. I mean weekly. 4.88 per week for smaller agencies and 7.57 at the larger stage.

So are we all incompetent? The uninformed certainly respond as if the whole industry is stupid. But the informed know how they happen.
