In digital marketing, perception often trumps facts. There are a lot of very smart or smart sounding marketers devoted to digital and they can convince you of just about anything … if you aren’t careful.
For instance, TikTok and Instagram are king among GenZ! Who would argue that? Everyone has anecdotal evidence of teen groups shoot TikToks out in public places. That must be the case. Totally believable.
The challenge is in the statement. Is it reach that makes a king? Is it impact? Is it devotion? Shouldn’t it be impact, reach and devotion, with a little bit of commerce thrown in as well?Check Your Facts in Digital
