The winners: Digital video and social. Digital video is the leader with more than 75 percent of marketers expecting to increase budgets and one of the reasons is it works so well in social. Social on its own, including influencers and paid advertising, is just behind with close to 70 percent expecting to increase spend.

Display showed notable increases despite no one really knowing what the landscape will look like next year.
