In reading another high-level, practically worthless, article about how Artificial Intelligence is going to impact marketing … an article that claims it will revolutionize digital marketing but the human element will always be key … I came to the realization that old tale might not be right.

I’m not saying that humans won’t be on the front end of deciding the business-positive actions that marketing needs to focus its attention. At least, in the near future. But the idea that, in 10 years, there will be full-time equivalents pouring over month-end reports to decide how to optimize a campaign, is ludicrous.
