Agricultural communications veteran Sally Krueger has joined Rooster Strategic Solutions as chief public relations strategist. Her focus will include leading both strategic and tactical execution of public relations, communications and content campaigns across the consultancy’s client roster.
Krueger was most recently head of brand, creative and content at Farmers Business Network (FBN), where she was the senior marketing leader responsible for developing content and marketing communications campaigns globally. Her strategic leadership of in-house content and creative services teams, as well as agency partnerships, at the high-growth organization included omni-channel campaigns and influencer programs that resulted in accelerated pipeline growth for FBN’s businesses and exponential impact and reach to brand channels.
Prior to FBN, Krueger was public relations and account director for OBP in both St. Louis and Kansas City offices working with a variety of clients, including United Soybean Board, Merck Animal Health, Qualisoy, Verdesian Life Sciences and Nutrien Ag Solutions, among others. Other positions Krueger has held include marketing communications specialist at Auburn University and senior public relations manager at Eberly & Collard Public Relations in Atlanta.
Krueger holds a B.S. degree in agricultural communications from Auburn University. She has won numerous awards in her career, including the Auburn University College of Agriculture’s Outstanding Alumni Award. Her advertising and public relations campaigns have also been recognized by the National Agri-Marketing Association and the Agricultural Communications Network.
“Our clients are increasingly wanting well-thought-out and effective public relations and content campaigns,” says Rooster CEO and founder Josh Turney. “Sally’s track record for meeting and exceeding client expectations for these services is well known throughout the agricultural industry.”
