Ted Haller and Lisa McKelvie have joined Rooster Strategic Solutions to further strengthen the firm’s broadcast, print and digital media capabilities.

Haller is a media veteran and joins the company as broadcast specialist. He most recently was agricultural research director for the Brownfield Radio Network and has more than 40 years of experience working on both the agency and media sides of radio and television. Haller has worked extensively on ratings analysis for all media, as well as the development of media models and measurement over the course of three decades. He is also a recipient of the NAFB Dix Harper Meritorious Service Award for his work specifically in ag radio.

Haller’s other professional stints include Katz Radio Group, Advancers, OBP and the Brighton Agency. He has worked for many of agriculture’s top brands, including Asgrow, DEKALB, John Deere, Deltapine, AgriGold, BASF, Elanco Animal Health, AGCO, Monsanto and Bayer. On the consumer side, Haller has developed and executed media plans for Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Meow Mix and Purina Dog and Puppy Chows. He is based out of St. Marys, Georgia.

McKelvie joins Rooster as senior media specialist and brings a rich background in both U.S. and Canadian crop and livestock markets to the firm. She was most recently associate media director for AdFarm. Prior to that McKelvie was a media planner at OBP, a media buyer at Momentum, and a graphic designer at Service Reprographics.

Client experience for McKelvie includes John Deere, Merck Animal Health, Dow AgroSciences (Canada), Koch Agronomics Services, Alltech, Nutrien (U.S. and Canada) and Hubbard Feeds. She holds a B.A. degree in advertising from Webster University in St. Louis and is based out of Trenton, Illinois.
