Chris BurlatourChris Brulatour has joined Rooster Strategic Solutions as executive brand strategist. He brings four decades of experience to the company in brand building and marketing communications across a wide range of agricultural, consumer and industrial product categories, target audiences and media channels.

Brulatour, who had been working with Rooster as a consultant since November of last year before coming on board full time, was previously director of brand strategy and account planning at Sandbox in Kansas City. His work at Sandbox encompassed agribusiness, animal health, telecommunications, home electronics and healthcare clients.

He has also held positions as vice president, group account director at Bernstein-Rein and as senior vice president, team leader at Barkley, both in Kansas City. In addition, Brulatour has worked at a number of Chicago-based agencies, including Arc Worldwide (formerly Frankel & Company), DDB Chicago and Leo Burnett.

Brulatour has considerable experience with agricultural clients, including Bayer Crop Science, Elanco Animal Health and John Deere Financial, as well as food-related, consumer packaged goods with ConAgra and General Mills. Other notable brands he has had a hand in shaping include Nestle, Corona beer, Blue Bunny ice cream, McDonald’s, LG Electronics and Sprint. Brulatour holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
