Rooster Strategic Solutions has expanded its media and account service teams with two new staffers – Elaine Komos and Anne Marie Connelly – joining the company.
Elaine Komos – a 36-year-media-industry veteran – comes on board as senior media manager and will focus on a wide range of media-related functions, including planning, placement, traffic, financial reconciliation and metric analysis across print, broadcast and digital spectrums. Her primary role will be to provide support for the current Rooster media team which includes Pat Reese, Ted Haller and Lisa McKelvie.
Komos, whose client expertise includes agriculture, retail, fast food and consumer packaged goods, has held media-related positions at AdFarm, Brighton, OBP and Ross Advertising. During her career, she has worked for a number of agricultural clients, including United Soybean Board, ADM Animal Nutrition, National Pork Board, John Deere, Iowa Farm Bureau, BASF, Bayer U.S. and Canada, and Farm Credit Canada. Komos holds a B.A. degree in communications from St. Louis University.
Anne Marie Connelly joins Rooster as senior account executive for the Syngenta Seeds business and will serve as a daily contact while handling execution of client services. Her experience includes serving as account supervisor at OBP supporting DEKALB, Asgrow, WestBred wheat and Deltapine cotton brands. Connelly has also worked as a marketing manager for Staples Promotional Products, as an account coordinator for Fusion Marketing, and as a social media and marketing coordinator for Rovertown. She also spent four years as a handler for the famed Anheuser Busch Clydesdales, providing equine care for more than 40 horses and helping coordinate special events, tours and media coverage. Connelly holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
