CLINTON, ILL., August 23, 2022 – Rooster has promoted Rachel Torbert to the position of public relations director. She was previously senior media relations strategist and has been at the company for just over a year.
In her new role, Torbert will lead day-to-day public relations and media relations for multiple Rooster clients, including Precision Planting, Farm Op Capital, Indigo Ag, Pinion (formerly KCOE ISOM) and others, as well as contribute to developing the company’s public relations practice and new business efforts.
Torbert has a rich background in farming and agricultural communications. She grew up on a family farm in central Illinois and remains actively involved in that operation raising registered Jersey cattle, and registered Paint and Quarter horses. She previously held public relations positions at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Farm Bureau and Bader-Rutter & Associates before joining Rooster.
