Senior Content Strategist & Producer

THE ROLE

The Senior Content Strategist & Producer at Rooster Strategic Solutions serves as a key member of the growing PR & Content team at Rooster. This role supports scalable content as part of client initiatives and campaigns to ensure world-class content marketing services and solutions, as well as clear and compelling storytelling online and off. End to end, from initial strategy to execution and through to performance measurement, the Content Strategist & Producer is responsible for content creation and delivery. The individual in this role is a seasoned expert in working cross-functionally with diverse communications disciplines, including public relations, content, social media, creative, video production, media and corporate identity/brand management. The Senior Content Strategist & Producer is a relationship-oriented consensus builder who is responsible for working across the agency and with clients to plan and activate content across many channels and formats. The individual in this role is extremely digitally savvy with a growth mindset and experience building inbound channels, or has experience in a digital or content marketing role. 

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Content Strategy and Planning 

  • Roadmapping detailed content plans and bringing them to life through inbound and outbound to build brands and brand channels 
  • Generating content campaigns and tactics that impact TOF and BOF weather for lead generation or customer retention
  • Developing plans for paid and owned channels across media formats to deliver persuasive and compelling content that is actionable
  • Creating content campaign scorecards and measuring their impact downstream 
  • Working closely with data/intelligence and digital teams to leverage data and martech for automation, personalization and deployment in content marketing campaigns 

Content Production, Activation and Delivery 

  • Hands-on experience working closely with creative and account planning teams to ensure content tactics and campaigns are on-brief
  • Integrating creative, comms and brand campaigns to a content strategy that sizzles
  • Collaborating closely with creatives, project managers and video production and editors to create motion assets
  • Working closely with media and digital teams to ensure organic and paid content work together effectively
  • A knack for creating simple yet detailed timelines, conversion paths and matrices to ensure assets are delivered on time and on-budget for each and every channel and touchpoint
  • Performs additional tasks to achieve positive outcomes for the team and clients

Content Performance Measurement and Reporting 

  • Ensure content marketing is deployed through martech efficiently on the front end and measured effectively on the back end
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting back on content impact internally and directly with clients
  • Ensure content marketing campaign ROI through hands-on testing and experimentation with digital, social and data teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field
  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing-communications in an agency, firm or fast-paced, high-growth in-house setting
  • Hands-on experience developing and implementing content strategy across multiple channels
  • Experience creating and deploying impactful content for agribusinesses and agricultural brands or farmer-facing organizations
  • A data science mentally for content measurement and metrics
  • An analytical storytelling approach to content marketing results
  • Natural collaborator with company and client leaders across functions, including creative, content, IT, marketing, media, sales, legal and others
  • A public relations or comms professional’s eye and ear for brand tone and style
  • World-class interpersonal and presentation skills, particularly with cross functional teams of varying levels
  • Detail- and deadline-oriented
  • Self-motivated, confident, agile, performance-focused and cool under pressure

Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager
This role reports directly to the Chief Project Manager with a dotted line to the Strategic Account Director

What is a Project Manager?
The PM leads project initiatives from initiation through completion by taking on the day to day management of the workflow. They have primary ownership of project scoping, planning, resourcing and estimating for the job with an eye towards delivering the quality work on scope, time and budget by working closely with team leads including Creative, Account Management, Media, and Strategy.

What will the PM do?

  • Serve as day to day client contact on initiated projects
  • Manage client feedback and revision process
  • Oversee deployment and/or launch of work based on project scope
  • Manage account workflow by providing timelines on all projects and partnering with team members, freelancers and vendors on resource allocation
  • Maintain budget per client approved scope

Specific Roles/Responsibilities:
Client/Brand:
Manages and communicates status or issues of large tactical scopes on clients to team leads

Product/Process
Accountable for ensuring delivery of quality work on scope, time, and budget

  • Responsible for ensuring flawless execution of all programs and projects on client business
  • Leads input sessions on assigned projects
  • Supports the team with efficient kick off meetings
  • Provides feedback to help enhance the work
  • Identifies best practices on team and helps to plan implementation
  • Identifies opportunities to conduct postmortems and helps to implement lessons learned on specific project work

Culture/Talent
Ensures number of FTEs align to budget and scope of their client and individual projects. Proactively identifies and secures needed resources to deliver against scope

  • Responsible for ensuring alignment with team leads across client business
  • Leads discussions with team on month-to-month forecasting

Partner with CD on allocating creative team and right talent to task

Financial
Responsible for ensuring forecasting on committed work is accurate and activated at appropriate time

  • Reviews and approves SOWs, estimates
  • Proactively monitors total budgets across assigned client business and ensures out-of-scope SOWs are elevated to team leads
  • Identifies total SOW budgets based on scope or revision needs based on scope changes
  • Partners with Chief Project Manager and above to ensure client assigned forecasts are up-to-date and accurate for committed work
  • Determines hours for investments in partnership with team leads and approvals from Leadership
  • Reviews burn rate to assess trends of project budgets and forecast alerting account team of any concerns
  • Identifies best practices on team and helps to plan implementation

CRM Manager

Rooster is looking for a CRM Manager to join its industry-leading digital team. The position will lead and implement strategies primarily using the toolset in Salesforce on behalf of our clients.

The CRM Manager will oversee and execute campaign management, campaign execution and marketing analytics leveraging the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms. This Rooster will collaborate with the Digital team, Account team and Content team to support clients’ CRM and marketing automation strategies. Ideally, the person in this role will be responsible for building customer journeys within Salesforce and Marketing Cloud while optimizing Marketing Cloud’s automation tools for various digital marketing channels.

This is a client-facing position, so in addition to Salesforce and CRM knowledge, it is important that this person is comfortable interacting with clients as well as internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Rooster team to execute CRM strategies, including customer journeys and ongoing nurturing.
  • Develop and implement marketing automation in Marketing Cloud
  • Understand and establish connections between Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Analyze and report results that will drive further optimization for email performance
  • Continually enhance customer experiences using Salesforce.com and Marketing Cloud automation
  • Perform additional tasks to achieve a positive outcome for our clients

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) including Journey Builder journey creation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connect integration management, Data Extensions, Social Studio, Advertising Studio and Contact Builder
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud, including deep experience with managing Campaigns using the Campaign and Campaign Members objects, direct mail integration/data management, and social media/customer service integration

Specific experience in:

  • Experience with CSS and HTML for email creation
  • Expert knowledge of responsive email development principles and ability to create HTML content to work across different browsers and email programs
  • AMPScript and SQL knowledge a plus but not required.
  • Experience in Managing account configurations Configuring Roles and Business Units
  • Exposure to Contact Builder, Audience Builder and Predictive intelligence
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create documentation for both business and technical stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, tracking and other aspects of email execution, as required.
  • Experience in creating custom Salesforce landing pages
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills and success interacting with senior-level executives in a corporate environment
  • Certifications in Salesforce products
