CLINTON, ILL. – Heather Weaverling has joined Rooster as media director.
In her new role, Weaverling will be responsible for helping clients to develop strategic paid media plans and solutions. She will also help guide clients and Rooster teams in strategic media planning and measurement.
Weaverling brings more than 25 years of media and advertising industry experience to Rooster. Most recently, she was the associate digital operations director of Strategic America, providing senior leadership in developing and executing strategic media plans, focusing primarily on paid digital media. She has also held roles at Strategic America that include media account management, buying, planning and coordination.
Weaverling was media director for both Two Rivers Marketing and Trilix, managing all aspects of their media departments in previous roles. She was the advertising and promotions coordinator for the Iowa State Center, overseeing advertising and press coverage for their theatrical and musical events. Weaverling earned her bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis on advertising.
Weaverling is based in Ankeny, Iowa, and has served on the board for the Iowa Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Des Moines Ronald McDonald House Gala Committee.
