CLINTON, ILL., June 8, 2022 – Abby Stutsman has joined Rooster as associate creative director.

In her new role, Stutsman will be responsible for developing strategic concepts and campaigns for multiple client campaigns and projects, as well as assisting the creative director in evaluating creative work for its effectiveness in translating client objectives into compelling ideas.

Stutsman most recently was associate creative director and writer for HLK Agency, where she built a creative team to support range and pasture business and led cause-marketing campaigns to assist communities impacted by natural disasters. She also held senior copywriter and associate creative director/writer positions at Sandbox.

Other previous professional roles for Stutsman include senior writer and strategist at 2e Creative; senior copy specialist at Spire; and several positions at Osborn-Barr, including supervisor, copywriter, assistant account executive and account coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and strategic communications.

Stutsman has worked with many agricultural brands, including Bayer Crop Sciences, Bayer Range and Pasture, Merck Animal Health, Elanco, Verdesian Life Sciences, the United Soybean Board, and other industry associations and organizations. During her career, she has won numerous NAMA awards, St. Louis Addy awards and a Bronze Effie for her creative work on behalf of agricultural clients.

Stutsman grew up on a family farm in southeast Iowa that produces corn and soybeans and includes a cow-calf operation. She was very active in 4-H and showing cattle. In addition, her family operates an independently owned agricultural retail business that supplies farmers in eastern Iowa.
